2012年8月30日下午，中国生物技术发展中心副主任董志峰、国际合作处副处长李瑞国携中德生命科学创新平台德国代表团，来访上海生物信息技术研究中心，中心主任李亦学、副主任刘雷及党支部副书记谢鹭等领导的热情接待了来访人员。

刘雷教授向德国代表团成员介绍了中心的研究领域、科研项目、数据平台、样本管理以及合作组织等方面的基本情况，给代表团留下了深刻的印象。双方就生物信息发展以及样本资源获取与使用等问题交换了意见及看法，并就未来加强相互之间的交流与合作达成了广泛共识。

German Delegation visited SCBIT

The German delegation of Sino-German Life Science Platform visited Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Center with the accompany of Vice Director of China National Center for Biotechnology Development, Dong Zhifeng and Vice Director of International Cooperation Department Li Ruiguo on 30th August, 2012. Professor Yixue Li, Professor Lei Liu and Dr. Lu Xie of Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Center received them.

Professor Liu gave a basic introduction of the research area, research projects, data platform, sample management and cooperation association of SCBIT and left a deep impression on the delegation. The two sides exchanged opinions and views on the development of Bioinformation, as well as the access and usage of sample resource and other issues. They also reached a broad agreement about strengthening the communication and cooperation in the future.
