On February 26th, a project team of SITI visited Shanghai Sunrise Chemicals Co. Ltd. and Nanjing Regal Polymer Co. Ltd to have a discussion meeting on its scientific achievement transfer and industrialization. Prof. Changsik Ha, team leader of the project and senior visiting professor at SITI, Mr. Baicun Zheng, Chairman of Board, Shanghai Sunrise Chemicals Co. Ltd. and Nanjing Regal Polymer Co. Ltd, attended the meeting.

On the meeting, representative of Nanjing Regal Polymer Co. Ltd gave a detailed introduction on the automatic production system of the company and measures of quality control as well as environment protection, showing its confidence in the quality of the product from future collaboration. SITI team gave introduction on the project progress and main achievements of the project “Anti-fingerprint and anti-contamination coating materials” as well as their applications in various fields. The SITI delegation also visited the production lines and laboratories at Regal Polymer.

In April of 2017, SITI invited Prof. Changsik Ha from Pusan National University of Korea to be senior visiting professor and initiated the project of “Anti-fingerprint and anti-contamination coating materials”. At present, the achievements of the projects, especially the “Anti-fingerprint coating materials”, have reached the frontline level of the similar products in the market and provided a good basis for industrialization.
